Ok here is a step by step guide of resetting the bios. Note this is what i do at the computer repair shop i work in so if you do not feel comfortable opening your pc then call in a tec these are just for guide lines if you do decide to do it.

Step one: Ground yourself by touching a radiator or using a anti static strap and open the pc casing.

Step two: Locate the battery it is usually round and flat.

Step three: Locate the pins to reset the bios it is three pins with a jumper on two of them. Sort of looks like this [..].

Step four: Remove the jumper and place on the other 2 pins so it looks like .[..] Count ten seconds then move back again.

This effectivly shorts the battery thus loosing the data (passwords etc) from the bios memory.

Close the case and plug everything back in.

et voilla you now have a password free bios.

Reply:Thats not a problem dude hope i helped Report It

Reply:If you are talking of the password I am thinking of you may want to try reseting your CMOS / BIOS.
Reply:I have just had this problem with my gransons pc.

Have you tried just bypassing it just click the cross on the top right hand corner.

If you can get into safe mode you can probably cancel the password and user name from there

Otherwise you may have to format and start again
Reply:Yes, if you hire a Microsoft Certified Engineer, they can fix it. You'll have to prove you bought the pc. Or you can phone the company you bought it from, again you'll have to prove its you so have all your details ready.
Reply:You may like to try following the instructions contained in this link (starts about one third of the way down the page)
