I gave a light colored english saddle. I wore my field boots when i rode in it, and now there are big black marks on both sides of my saddle. My saddle is really expensive. Does anyone know how to get the black marks off, or at least some of it. Are there any particular products? Please help!!!
How do I get my saddle cleaned.?
If you go to a store that has horse stuff Im sure they would have something that would work for you. Saddle soap is best seeing as its made for saddle cleaning. I think you suppost to clean your saddle like ever other week or something depending on how much you use it. I know mine gets really dirt the more it sits. I also use lindseed oil to water proof it and keep the leather soft.

Reply:yeah saddle soap works pretty well, just scrub it down with it pretty well, but test it on the inside where it doesnt show, just make sure it doesnt do anything harmful to the saddle, if you paid alot for it lol,, just keep an eye on it as you use the saddle soap lol good luck with it
Reply:do it yourself or take it to a saddle shop to do it yourself get a paper towell and leather cleaner and start scrubbing
