Are Classic Equine Legacy boots good for jumping?

I have the Classic Equine Legacy boots

http://classicequine.com/_HS/ProductDeta...

I%26#039;ve have for a while really before I started back english, but I now I just do hunters and I was wondering if they are good and supportive for jumping?I dont do a whole lot of large large jumping, but I was just wondering if they are efficiant for a training hunter pony at home.and what is the correct fit for these boots?I dont usually use any leg protection when Im riding but I%26#039;d to start because I%26#039;d rather be safe than sorry.Another reason Im asking is because I know polo wraps are good for jumping becuase they keep the heat in, but on classic equine website I read that they let the heat out so the legs stay cool, so are these not boots for jumping? and if not what are good boots for jumping that ARE NOT splint boots OR polo wraps? and that are not $200 lol. I just dont want to have to go through the hassle of polo wraps and worrying about wrapping them wrong lol

for jumping you want open front boots...polos and other types of boots offer too much padding so horses tend to get lazy and stop worrying about picking up their feet over the jumps because if they hit the poles it doesn%26#039;t hurt...

these are good boots and come in pony size

i usually use polos or beval open front boots and bell boots on my horses front legs and beval ankle boot on his hinds. i like using polos i was taught how to wrap properly and think they are a classy look and offer great support.
Reply:The Classic Equine boots have proven to me that they are good for anything. They really support your horse%26#039;s legs and protect them.
Reply:They would work for jumping as well as flatwork. But if you want boots for %26quot;jumping%26quot; consider open front jump boots. I have some leather with sheepskin Prestige brand ones that I found brand new on ebay for $85! here they are shown at normal price :

Heres a link to some more afforable ones though. Also these are the more %26quot;classic%26quot; look rather than all-around boots.

PS: polo wraps are WAAAY to much of a hassel. For one if you don%26#039;t put them on a certain way they can actually HURT the horse[ my trainer told me that and I will not use them since!]
