Horseback riders: which boots should i get?

Which brand of paddock boots should i get? I ride english and would like a pair of comfortable, quality black paddock boots... i am willing to spend up to $100 for a pair that lasts. Which brand have you had good experiences with, and which ones should i stay away from?

I personally like the Ariat brand of boots. They are comfortable and hold up very well. You can look on Ebay and usually find them for a reasonable price. Good Luck!
Reply:I would say, find a pair that fits and are comfortable. I prefer ariat boots because they fit comfortably for me. My plain western boots were 100$ at TSC, and I got a lace-up pair for about 60$. So just find a pair of paddock boots that look and feel comfortable, and get them. Brand isn%26#039;t a huge deal, quality and comfort is.
Reply:Buy some waterproof cowboy boots. I bought some from walmart 2 years ago and they are my prized possesions.
Reply:I have a pair of Mountain Horse boots. They are amazing. I have had them for 3 years. They are lined with some kind of fur lol. And have a shock absorber so when you dismount on a cold day, your feet dont tie up. They are also good for the barn because they arent leather and so they are easily cleaned and they are good for summer too because they are still airy
Reply:R.M Williams the best all round country boot
Reply:Everyone has their own preferences, but personally I like Ariat%26#039;s Heritage II paddock boots. They%26#039;re comfortable from the first time you put them on, very durable, and flexible. They%26#039;re also the most affordable Ariat paddock boot at $99.00. Grand Prix%26#039;s another big name brand in boots, but I find there%26#039;s can be very stiff for the first few wearings. You really have to spend a lot of time and energy breaking them in before you can ride in them comfortably. They also retail higher than the Ariat Heritage II. I%26#039;d stay away from Middleburg%26#039;s. They%26#039;re much less expensive (retailing between $49 and $69), but the lower price is for a reason. I had a pair that only lasted me about two months before they started basically disintegrating. They%26#039;re another brand that was stiff at first. I%26#039;ve also ridden in the Dublin Lace-Up, which I absolutely loved. They were super comfortable, but I was riding about four to five horses a day and they wore out really quickly. If you%26#039;ve got a lighter riding schedule, you might be able to fair better with them. But the Ariats are only ten dollars more and they%26#039;ve handled the rigors of my heavy riding and work schedule without wear or tear. Just my personal experiences, but I hope this helps!
Reply:I personally love Ariats.....but they are Western not English...sorry
Reply:Any boot that is comfortable on your foot. Nobody can give you a specific brand that will outlast all others because that depends on whether your feet are still growing, how much you use them, what terrain you use them in and how much attention you give them when they aren%26#039;t on your foot.

Since you used the term %26quot;horseback riders%26quot; you are not showing your horse nor taking lessons nor teaching riding to others. So you are just looking for a boot that will fit your personal appearance of looking professional. Get a boot that is comfortable.
