I live in Florida, but while visiting Indianapolis in the winter I saw a young woman in a pair of thigh high boots. That was my first time seeing them on someone in %26quot;real life.%26quot; She wore them with a mini-skirt and blouse, and they did not look hookerish, but sophisticated. Well, I went and bought a pair of Victoria Secret boots off the Internet. I like the way they look, but they are not comfortable at all. I have never worn them in public. The stiletto heel makes them hard to walk in and they keep riding down towards the knee. It sounds silly, but how do I keep them up? Also, where can I buy cheap (around $20) but decent over the knee stockings or socks to wear with them? What can I wear with them to get a more sophisticated look? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

little known trick wear soccer socks under them just when removing if in%26quot;company%26quot; dont let socks be seen! I own 4 pairs and many micro minis!

Sorry, I find this look should only be worn by street walkers.
Reply:I wear them with minidresses, or with suede or wool short skirts and a silk blouse or cashmere sweater. Sorry for the comfort factor with VS - I am not a fan of their quality in general. Underneath I wear my usual La PerlaThigh Highs.
