What kind of boots are these?
I have a pair. I ride, work %26amp; every day wear in mine.

Yes. Those %26amp; my Ariat. Ariat has a good sole. Some one from Nike went to work for them. I have these two %26amp; like them, also.

Reply:They can be both! and out where i live you buy a pair like that and they are okay for awhile but evetually you ride, work, play in the so much they get worn out then they are really fashionable!! lol
Reply:yea they%26#039;re ok (((not to be mean or anythin like that))) but I like these way better

Do you like them?((I know thy seems dresser but...i think theyre cute))
Reply:work.
Reply:Rods sells mostly western %26quot;themed%26quot; fashion. These do not have much of a heel so I wouldn%26#039;t ride in them, but if you wanted to ruin them you could clean stalls in them.
Reply:you can ride in them, but they are more for looks. please don%26#039;t buy them, as since they are wide, they are easily caught up in stirrups. at my local fair, 2 riders fell, but didn%26#039;t reach the ground. they were dangling off their horse because they were hung in their stirrups. thank goodness their horses didn%26#039;t run off. they were both wearing the same kind of boots- those.
Reply:Justin ropers..

I like em... and would ride in them but they look like they would be nice wearing out boots too..
Reply:These are a fashion boot that is made for everyday wear while out doing things but not really made to ride in.

The sole is comfortable for walking but they are not made to ride in.

I saw a discussion on another board about these and the sole are a crepe type thing great for walking comfort but bad for riding.
Reply:They can be both. Just be careful of the heel. I can%26#039;t really see it to tell you if it is big enough.
Reply:I%26#039;ve seen them ridden in and for fashion. I found some even more funny! http://www.statelinetack.com/itemdy00.as...
Reply:These boots are much like the Fat Babies and Pro Babies made by Ariat. Because riding in Fat Babies is sometimes not allowed in shows and other events, Ariat developed the Pro Baby, which is nearly identical to the boots shown in your link. These boots can be used for riding if you%26#039;d like, but are also very comfortable to work in. If you keep them oiled, they can be pretty durable. The rules for riding boots lie mainly in the sole. A smooth sole (like those) with a higher heel (roper or cowboy) is best.
Reply:They are both - the heel is no different than an english boot...if your heels are down, there is no problem riding in these!
Reply:I have a similar pair. I ride in mine %26amp; have had no problems with getting mine stuck.
Reply:they are more like no-kind-of-boots, but more like for just wearing for show. i wouldn%26#039;t ride in them because they don%26#039;t have enough of a heel. and i wouldn%26#039;t work in them because they%26#039;re too showy, too expensive, and not rubber.
